"Basking in the Afterglow of KKN."

KKN or a 40-day community service, an obligated program by our university, has just ended. Yesterday, we left Sari Bakti (Seputih Banyak, Lampung Tengah), whose local people showed great hospitality to us as their guests. Nothing’s left in my heart and mind but the people’s kindness and friendliness.

Besides the people of Sari Bakti, these 13 cheerful, unique, and super funny individuals made this experience unforgettable. I see them differently as a person. Here they are from back-left to front-right; Winda whose great eagerness to learn new stuff made her able to speak at least simple Javanese which is not her native, Olif a.k.a Ipeh who has the quality of behaving mentally and emotionally like an adult, Hepy whose present in this group made us infallibly cheerful, Ana whose artless intention of helping people made her a kind type of individual, Alya who went to Berseri Meatball Store once a day during the program, Yeni who made non-Javanese-native people like Winda and Bunga confused by her ‘medok-ness’ or Javanese accent, Bunga a.k.a Rohmah whose stand to do ‘Taaruf’ is not as strong as it was before KKN LOL, Nisa who ate wafer every single day in our homestay, Arif whose smiles are all the same in the 3.200 pictures we took in these 40 days, Rizki who tried to cheer anyone with his ‘Joko’ jokes, Wiwik whose sincere smile and soft-hearted personality made her lovable proven by the fact that Sari Bakti schools students wanted her to stay, and Olive whose food she cooked were just amazing. They have their own uniqueness. Given a chance to lead them in this 40 days was a priceless experience. Thanks for believing me to be with you guys ‘till we became the only group from IAIN who got the award of “the most active KKN group in Lampung Tengah” directly given by the regent.

Thanks to Bu Lurah, Pak Bayan, Pak Asmudi as our host family, Rian and his RISMA gang, the people of Sari Bakti and all the stakeholders that made this experience unforgettable.

To my team members, you guys are just great and amazing. Thank you for sharing all goods and bads in these 40 days. Keep your dreams alive. With all your potencies, I believe you guys can achieve success. Best luck for everything you’re pursuing in life. Will miss you people so much. #KeepCalmAndSucceedKKN #KKN #LampungTengah
